The MICRAPAC 9200  series of Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) provides the " Peak of  Performance" with the capability to meet the needs of all Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA). Designed to meet the customers requirements in a variety of different applications, the MICRAPAC 9200 is highly flexible with virtually unlimited growth capabilities.

The strength of the MICRAPAC 9200 comes from its Distributed Processing Architecture. The Communications Controller (ComCon) is the central processor which communicates with the smart I/O via the internal BCOM network. The ComCon also handles all master, SubRTU and IED communications and performs the upper level operations of the RTU.

A wide variety of different industry applications are easily met by the MICRAPAC 9200. Simply by selecting the quantity and type of standard, plug-in I/O modules and snap together termination assemblies, the MICRAPAC 9200  can be configured and easily expanded to meet field capacities in excess of 15,000 points.

All of the products in the MICRAPAC 9200 I/O module family, which interface to the field signals, are microprocessor based. The I/O module microprocessor performs lower level functions in real-time eliminating excessive data communications to the ComCon unit. The I/O sub-system design is very flexible in meeting the many different point count capacities required for the initial RTU installation and ensures ease of expansion.

Through the combined capability of the smart I/O modules and the centralized processing ComCon, the MICRAPAC 9200  achieves its industry leading processing capabilities while also providing automatic expansion of computing power and memory storage when the I/O is expanded.

The MICRAPAC 9200  is the most powerful remote terminal unit on the market with unparalleled performance, flexibility and reliability.

Providing Peak  Performance the MICRAPAC 9200 is the answer to your SCADA needs for medium to large capacity stations.
